Job Summary:

This position will enhance CooperVision's digital presence across websites, social media, paid media, and CRM platforms. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this role designs and executes campaigns aligned with brand plans, leveraging SEO/SEM, analytics, and automation tools to maximize ROI.

Responsibilities

Develops and executes SEO/SEM strategies to optimize web presence and search rankings

Manages paid media campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads) and monitors performance KPIs

Oversees website content management and enhancements; ensures UX best practices

Leads social media strategy, content creation and engagement tracking

Implements marketing automation workflows using Salesforce Marketing Cloud

Supports email marketing best practices and deliverability optimization for B2B and B2C communications

Analyzes campaign performance using Google Analytics 4 and create actionable dashboards

Collaborates cross-functionally to align digital initiatives with brand objectives

Maintains database hygiene and UTM tracking for reporting

Manages event communication, including invitations to support the sales team with post-event follow-up to nurture leads and maintain strong client connections

Manages external agencies and vendors for digital projects

Assists in reporting on KPIs and ROI of digital initiatives and presents dashboards to leadership

Ensures compliance with CASL, GDPR, and privacy regulations

Supports day-to-day administrative tasks and cross-department coordination

  • Stays current on emerging trends including online advertising, social media, blogging, AI, video and other emerging digital trends and technologies
  • Liaises with CooperVision Global/Regional partners to ensure Canada’s digital approach is consistent with worldwide/regional strategy and direction
  • Demonstrates thought leadership and challenge conventional wisdom in the digital arena
  • Works with the Head of Marketing in accountability for the digital budget - ensures maximum effectiveness for spend
Travel Requirements:
  • Travel to attend/present at marketing meetings, company, and industry events may be required– up to 10% of time

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Proficient in English; French is an asset

Experience with CRM automation tools (SalesForce and/or HubSpot) and email marketing platform (SalesForce Marketing Cloud and/or Marketo)

Strong knowledge of social platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube) and content optimization

Familiarity with social media content managers (Sprout Social, Social Studio and/or HootSuite) and event management system (Cvent)

Experience with designing content and graphics (Canva, Adobe)

Basic HTML/CSS skills and familiarity with CMS platforms (Drupal preferred)

Intermediate to advanced Excel and reporting skills; ability to interpret data for decision-making

Excellent communication, project management and collaboration skills

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment

Experience:
  • Minimum of five years' experience in a digital marketing role with focus on B2B marketing, SEO, paid media and analytics
  • Previous responsibility for website content management
  • Experience effectively managing and working with external agencies
  • Involvement in the design and build of websites and SFMC journeys
Education:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business or related field

Successful completion of accredited Digital Marketing program, or comparable certified training preferred
