Engineer, Facilities Capacity Planning

Ensure Facilities systems capacity meets current and future Fab demand, supporting TD and HVM operations, as well as non-manufacturing buildings. This role develops models, forecasts, and mitigation strategies to prevent capacity breaches and enable growth. Maintain capacity models for Facilities systems and integrate them with manufacturing demand forecasts. Complete Tool Utility Matrix planning for high-volume manufacturing and future technology development requirements. Partner with each Facilities discipline such as electrical and mechanical to understand customer needs and identify opportunities for automation and sensor integration. When capacity is projected to breach thresholds, collaborate with Capital Planning to initiate projects and work with system owners to scope solutions. Lead self-guided projects to improve data quality for more accurate scenario projections. Provide scenario analyses and risk assessments to support leadership decisions. Communicate capacity health and risks through dashboards and reports. Engage with IT to troubleshoot FCPS software issues and serve as the site-level administrator for FCPS. Perform User Acceptance Testing for FCPS enhancements and drive continuous improvement projects for FCPS in collaboration with the Global Facilities Team. Use AI to support modeling and forecasting to anticipate system capacity constraints, synthesize data from multiple sources, and recommend right-sized, risk-aware solutions. Proactively experiment with emerging AI capabilities to improve coverage, speed, and clarity of capacity analyses. Capacity modeling and scenario planning for Facilities systems, data analytics and forecasting for utilities and infrastructure, data cleansing and validation techniques to ensure model accuracy, project creation and management for capacity improvement initiatives, risk analysis using RPN and prioritization frameworks, and advanced Excel modeling and data visualization. Familiarity with Facilities systems is preferred. Skilled in AI-assisted data analysis and capable of building repeatable AI workflows from data preparation to validation while documenting model limitations, ethical use, and controls. Facilities Capacity Planning System or similar scenario modeling software, Tableau or Power BI for visualization, Microsoft Excel for advanced modeling, and Python or SQL for automation and data quality improvements. Meeting & Presentation, Mentoring, Project Management, Technical Writing, Organizational Change Management. Accuracy of data quality and timely identification of capacity breaches. May telecommute part time.
