Human Resources Director

At Wizards of the Coast, we connect people around the world through play and imagination. From our genre-defining games like Magic: The Gathering® and Dungeons & Dragons® to our growing multiverse, we continue to innovate and build new ways to foster friendship and connection. That’s where you come in! Sitting at the intersection of Human Resources and business leadership, the HR Business Partner (HRBP) plays a key role in shaping employee experience, developing talent, and driving business success at Hasbro. Reporting to the Sr. Director, HRBP, this role designs and delivers HR solutions that enable performance, support transformation, and foster a high-performing culture. As Hasbro’s technology function advances its AI-driven transformation, this HRBP will also act as a thought partner to leaders—helping evolve how we build, develop, and organize tech talent while navigating the people implications of rapid technological change. A Day in the Life of a Human Resources Business Partner: * You will partner with senior leaders across Technology and AI Studio to design and implement talent strategies that are directly aligned with business priorities and multi-year transformation goals. * You will drive people initiatives across the full talent lifecycle — including acquisition, development, retention, and organizational effectiveness — ensuring they connect to measurable business outcomes. * You will lead AI workforce transformation efforts by assessing skill gaps, building reskilling and upskilling strategies, evolving org design for AI-native teams, and guiding leaders through the people implications of rapid technological change and role evolution. * You will serve as a thought partner to tech and AI leaders, bringing a working understanding of how AI, data, engineering, and product organizations operate to inform practical, business-grounded HR solutions. * You will diagnose organizational and talent needs, partnering with business leaders to co-design and implement solutions that improve performance, engagement, and team health. * You will support workforce and business planning by ensuring talent structures, performance management frameworks, and recognition systems are built to enable strategic goals. * You will partner with leaders on organizational development initiatives — strengthening team capabilities, clarifying roles and processes, and building a culture where people and technology thrive together. * You will use HR data and analytics to surface insights, identify trends, and develop proactive solutions that address root causes rather than symptoms. * You will collaborate with leaders on succession planning and leadership pipeline development, ensuring critical roles have depth and continuity. * You will partner with Talent Acquisition to drive diverse, high-quality hiring and ensure new hires — especially those in emerging tech and AI roles — have a strong onboarding experience. * You will work closely with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to design and deliver best-in-class HR programs, bringing a technology and AI lens to enterprise initiatives where relevant. * You will build trusted relationships across the Technology division and the broader Hasbro enterprise, acting as a credible, empathetic partner who can influence decisions and lead change effectively. What you'll bring: * 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least several years in a senior HRBP or equivalent role. * BS in Business, HR, or related field (or equivalent combination of experience). * Experience supporting Technology, Product, Engineering, or Data teams strongly preferred. * Familiarity with AI tools, emerging technology trends, and their workforce implication preferred. * You understand how businesses operate and connect people strategies to business outcomes. * Proven organizational design and change management skills, ideally supporting organizations through transformation. * Experience building and executing people plans tied to multi-year strategic priorities. * Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a matrixed organization, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution. * Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills, with a collaborative, empathetic, and approachable style. * Strong communication skills and ability to provide clear, thoughtful counsel to senior leaders.
