What Makes This Role Great

This is a fantastic opportunity for a co‑op/summer student eager to gain hands‑on experience in marketing. As the Marketing Co‑op/Summer student, you’ll play a key role in supporting the marketing team by helping plan and execute events, developing compelling digital content, creating engaging graphics, and providing essential administrative and project management support. You’ll work closely with experienced professionals, gaining exposure to both strategy and execution, and making a visible impact on Rodan’s campaigns and brand presence. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, creative, digitally savvy, and excited to learn in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the creation and editing of written content for digital channels, including social media posts, email campaigns, website copy, and campaign materials.
  • Research industry trends in energy, sustainability, and innovation to support content development and marketing campaigns.
  • Assist with the planning and execution of trade shows, webinars, and client appreciation events.
  • Assist with digital marketing initiatives, including website updates, email campaigns, social media management, and content publishing.
  • Design visuals for social media, emails, and presentations using Canva.
  • Provide general marketing, administrative and project support, including coordinating timelines, organizing assets, and tracking initiatives.
  • Work with marketing, sales, and other teams to support seamless campaign execution.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Journalism or a related field, or in post‑secondary education in any discipline.
  • Proficiency in Canva, WordPress, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and contribute to the successful execution of marketing initiatives through effective project management.
  • Digitally savvy with a strong understanding of online marketing trends, social media platforms, and common digital tools.
  • Experience or knowledge about email marketing and email marketing tools is a strong asset.
  • Experience through school projects or volunteer work in marketing or event support is an asset.
  • Strong organizational, administrative, and project management skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to collaborate and learn in a team environment.

Compensation & Work Term

Hourly Rate: $20 - $24/hour

Work Term: 4 Months (May 2026 - August 2026)

Work Location: Hybrid - 4 days per week
