<h2>Job Description</h2><div><div><p>Astute's Power Team is partnering with a leading provider of uninterruptible power supplies and generator solutions to recruit a Sales Engineer across the East Midlands.</p><p>The strategically important Sales Engineer role comes with a competitive salary (depending on experience), car allowance and bonus scheme.</p><p>If you're a Sales Engineer looking to work for an organisation that values expertise, integrity, and long-term development, then submit your CV to apply today.</p><br />Responsibilities and duties of the Sales Engineer role<br /><p>Reporting to the National Sales Manager you will:</p><ul><li>Propose technical solutions tailored to customer requirements across power switching and monitoring systems</li><li>Work closely with the tender team to produce quotations and technical documentation</li><li>Provide technical support to customers and the UK sales team on large-scale projects.</li><li>Assist the sales team with technical estimates for quotations.</li><li>Attend customer sites for training, product updates, project meetings, commissioning, and handover</li><li>Prepare and deliver quotations and tender submissions for power switching and monitoring products</li><li>Identify and report additional work opportunities during site visits.</li><li>Represent the business at pre- and post-tender meetings</li></ul><br />Professional qualifications<br /><p>We are looking for someone with the following:</p><ul><li>Degree or HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering desirable</li><li>Experience in technical sales or applications within electrical engineering</li><li>Knowledge of switchgear, metering, or critical power systems (desirable)</li><li>Commissioning and switchgear experience (desirable).</li></ul><br />Personal skills<br /><p>The Sales Engineer role would suit someone who is:</p><ul><li>Technically strong with the ability to translate solutions into customer value</li><li>Commercially aware with a proactive approach to business development</li><li>Confident presenting and engaging with customers at all levels</li><li>Highly organised with strong time management skills.</li><li>A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills</li></ul><p><b>Salary and benefits of the Sales Engineer role</b></p><ul><li>Salary - competitive.</li><li>Car allowance.</li><li>Monday-Friday, 08:30-17:00 (with flexible start/finish times).</li><li>25 days holiday plus bank holidays (33 days in total).</li><li>Pension scheme.</li></ul><p><b> INDPOW</b></p><p><b>#LI-CM1</b></p><p>Astute People are acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy.
