Shopify Store Manager (Western Lifestyle Brand)

Important Requirements:

Must have Zoom camera on during our meetings together.

Must have high-experience with Shopify Collective.

Must be fluent in English (spoken and written)

Must be comfortable communicating clearly over Zoom with me

This position is to start immediately

Overview:

We are a 16-year established Western ranch hospitality platform launching a curated Western lifestyle Shopify store. Our store is already built, and we are now seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Shopify manager to help us prepare for launch and manage ongoing operations. All vendors are linked via Shopify Collective.

This is a hands-on role at the beginning, transitioning into ongoing management and support.

Phase 1: Pre-Launch (High Involvement)

You will work closely with me to:

Review all vendors connected via Shopify Collective

Curate and select which products will be featured in the store

Evaluate vendor-provided images and select the best assets

Identify vendors with subpar imagery so that entire store is cohesive. (we have AI enhancement support in place to collaborate with)

Clean up and optimize all product listings (titles, descriptions, formatting, consistency)

Ensure product pages align with our brand standards and voice

Assist in organizing collections and overall store structure

Review and help refine the visual presentation of the site (open to suggestions for improvement)

Ensure shipping settings, vendor integrations, and fulfillment flows are properly configured

Phase 2: Launch & Ongoing Management

Daily management of the Shopify dashboard

Respond to customer emails and inquiries (potentially reaching out to vendors for answers)

Ongoing product and listing updates upon my direction.

Monitor vendor performance and product quality

Assist with SEO improvements across product pages and collections

Provide recommendations to improve conversion and user experience

Work closely with me during early stages, transitioning to weekly check-ins

What We’re Looking For:

Strong experience with Shopify (especially product management and backend operations)

Experience with Shopify Collective is a plus

Strong eye for product presentation, imagery, and brand consistency

Basic SEO understanding (product and collection optimization)

Excellent organization and communication skills

Ability to take direction but also proactively suggest improvements

Comfortable working collaboratively and iterating quickly

Nice to Have:

Experience with lifestyle, Western, or hospitality brands

Experience managing multi-vendor or marketplace-style stores

Familiarity with customer service workflows inside Shopify

Working Style:

High involvement during pre-launch phase

Transition to ongoing support and store management
