Job Details:

  • Arrange patients for nuclear medicine examinations
  • Produce nuclear medicine images to aid in medical diagnosis
  • Prevent patients from unnecessary radiation exposure
  • Ensure patient safety through preparation, calibration and administration of radiopharmaceuticals
  • Utilize departmental policies for safe equipment operation
  • Provide complete pre and post education to patients and families
  • Work under general supervision with ability to evaluate competency levels of others as preceptor
  • Handle emergency room and routine inpatient and outpatient examinations
  • Report to Supervisor or Manager
  • Required certifications: License/Certificate Verification
  • Must complete skills checklist, competency exam, and core competencies
  • Background check and drug screening required
  • Eye exam and color vision testing required
  • Resume and HRIS form submission required
