Veteran fulfillment specialist (remote)

POSITION OVERVIEW

VetClaims.ai is seeking mission-driven personnel to serve as Veteran Fulfillment Specialists. In this role, you will work directly with veterans to guide them through the VA disability claims process, ensuring their stories are accurately documented and their cases are built with precision and care.

This position is ideal for individuals with a strong medical or operational background who are detail-oriented, empathetic, and committed to advocating for the veteran community.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Engage with Veterans (70%)
    Conduct intake consultations with veterans to understand their service history, medical conditions, and claim needs. Provide clear guidance and build trust through effective communication.
  • Leverage AI and Technology (20%)
    Utilize AI-driven tools and internal systems to streamline documentation, identify key claim elements, and improve overall efficiency and accuracy.
  • Develop Comprehensive Claims (10%)
    Maintain detailed, organized records and ensure all documentation supports strong, well-substantiated VA disability claims.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong understanding of medical concepts, including anatomy, trauma, and rehabilitation
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
  • Highly motivated with a strong sense of accountability and ownership

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • U.S. Military Veteran
  • Background as a Combat Medic, Corpsman, Special Operations, or similar role
  • Experience reviewing or interpreting medical records
  • Familiarity with VA disability claims processes
  • Experience using Google Workspace and/or AI-based tools
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote environment
