2nd Shift Warehouse Lead

Job purpose

Coordinating and monitoring the daily operational activities and performing warehousing activities (cooperating front man)


Coordinated Operations

  • Prepare orders by processing requests, and supply orders, pulling materials, packing boxes and placing orders in delivery area

  • Solving issues on behalf of customer service, in consultation with supervisor

  • Monitoring and adjusting priorities in planning

  • Maintaining internal contacts, works closely with other departments (Customer Service, Business Solutions, Planning etc.)

  • Taking care of resolving issues and complaints on behalf of and together with customer care, customer or manager

  • Coordinating physical counts of inventory on a daily basis or at customer’s request

  • Reporting stock differences and damages

  • Coordinating operational work by employees and supervising execution Monitoring qualitative and quantitative progress and identifying priorities in consultation with manager

  • Ensuring coordination of various sub-processes

  • Leading pre-shift meetings

  • Taking care of operational activities of warehouse supervisor during their absence

  • Making (improvement) proposals to the supervisor

  • Participate in projects aimed at improvement

Organized work environment

  • Ensuring a structured, safe and tidy working environment

  • Ensuring the correct use of tools and material handling

  • Reporting defects, damages, malfunctions and escalate repairs where necessary

  • Securing the warehouse by turning alarms on and testing system performance

Technical Managed employees

  • Being first point of contact for warehouse employees

  • Coordinating and coaching of warehouse employees

  • Distributing the daily work to the employees, based on the delivered planning

  • Identify opportunities for additional staff training, notify Department Manager, and plan and deliver as assigned

  • Assists and provides feedback to Warehouse Supervisor about overall performance team and individual performances

  • Providing input to the supervisor with regard to the evaluation interviews and development of employees

  • Checking the correct execution/completion of the tasks

Compliant with regulations and Procedures

  • Maintain high quality service by following organizational procedures, attend training sessions and ensure follow up of Client specific requirements as per agreed procedures & instructions.

  • Compliance with, and monitoring of compliance with local, regional, and international legal regulations and business obligations

  • Ensure compliance with quality procedures including ISO 13485, FDA, and other agencies


Education, knowledge, experience level:


  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience

  • Knowledge of logistic and administrative processes

  • Experience with TMS & WMS platform

  • 1+ years of experience leading a team or project in a warehouse environment

  • Fluent in English (speaking/written).

  • Knowledge of medical industry is a plus.
